Our people

Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 2010 after joining Mills & Co as a trainee in 2008, becoming a Director of Mills & Co. Solicitors Limited in 2020. He is also admitted on the Roll of Solicitors in the Republic of Ireland and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

Jonathan deals primarily with bill of lading, charterparty and commodity disputes involving LMAA, GAFTA and LCIA arbitrations, together with High Court proceedings. He also advises on contracts for the sale and purchase of commodities (including metals, coal and soft commodities) and spent a year on secondment to the legal team of a multinational mining and petroleum company.

Jonathan has Corporate Law and LLB degrees from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
