James qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and joined Mills & Co in 2015, becoming a Director of Mills & Co. Solicitors Limited in 2018.
Work Types
James handles a wide variety of “dry” shipping disputes, with particular experience and interest in tanker related disputes. James counts a number of large tanker operators amongst his clients. Recently, James has handled a significant number of off-spec bunker disputes for both owners and charterers. Before qualifying as a solicitor, James worked in the claims department of an International Group P&I Club for four years.
