Genie has considerable experience of handling a variety of dry shipping and commodity disputes, as well as casualties and cargo claims, both in the Commercial and Admiralty Courts and in international arbitration proceedings (LMAA, LCIA, GAFTA and SIAC). Genie regularly advises on issues arising out of charterparties, bills of lading and sale contracts. Genie is fluent in Russian and Spanish and speaks Modern Standard Arabic. Genie gained her Higher Rights of Audience qualification in 2024

Genie is engaged in P&I, FDD, Admiralty and international trade proceedings, both in the High Court and in arbitration.
