With 15 years of seagoing experience across the merchant and offshore sectors prior to coming ashore in 2026, Duncan has experience of containerships, product tankers, anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, and sub sea support vessels, gaining broad operational experience in a wide array of challenging environments and conditions.

A qualified master mariner, having obtained his certificate of competency in 2022, Duncan has extensive experience in Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations, cargo operations, lifting operations, and ship to ship operations. His background spans offshore support, navigation, ship handling, procurement, and safety management, providing him with a comprehensive and professional understanding of modern maritime operations.
