The firm regularly drafts contracts for clients. These may be one off provisions for use in a particular contract, or may be terms and conditions for general use.

Examples of the former are the firm's work for shipbuilders and shipowners in new building projects. Examples of the latter are terms and conditions for sale of goods, carriage of goods, subcontracting, purchasing and shiprepairing.

For example, both Geoffrey Mills (the firm’s retired senior partner) and Guy Mills have been responsible for drafting standard shiprepair terms now in common use.
