Milburn House is a listed building, and dates from 1905. It was built by shipping interests and its floors run from "A" at the top to "F" at the bottom, like the decks of a ship. Inside, the building's public spaces are classically Edwardian in style and decor.

The office is about 20 minutes taxi ride from Newcastle Airport - which is also reachable by a 25 minute Metro journey from Newcastle Central Station. There are numerous flights each day to London (Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted) as well as to other European destinations, including several flights each day to Amsterdam Schiphol. There are also regular direct flights to destinations further afield, including Dubai.
