Worked in Norton Rose’s shipping department from 1988 until 1995, in London, Bahrain and Piraeus. Joined Rayfield Mills in 1995 and became a partner in 1998. Joined Mills & Co on 1st August 2007. Master Mariner and Notary Public. Specialises in casualty work, unsafe port claims, tanker disputes and charterparty disputes involving technical issues.

From 1987 worked for Ince & Co in London and Singapore, qualifying as a solicitor in 1993. Joined Norton Rose in 1998 as head of the Admiralty Department and principal marine accident investigator. Formed Sunter & Co in December 2002. Joined Mills & Co in September 2005.
