You are welcome to ring us up to discuss any matter on an informal basis, without incurring any fees.

If you then wish us to advise further, we will agree an hourly rate with you for time which we spend on the matter, and charge you on that basis.

Our policy is to agree charge out rates which are inclusive of (a) mark-up (b) communication charges (post, fax, telephone, etc) other than for large bundles and for courier and special delivery charges and (c) routine (less than 100 pages) photocopying charges; but exclusive of external costs, draftsman's charges and of VAT.

We do not instruct third parties (for example Counsel, foreign lawyers, or technical experts) without first seeking client approval.

As a result of having lower overhead expenditure in Newcastle, our hourly charge out rates tend to be significantly lower than those of our London competitors.
